The word "rancor" means bitter resentment or ill-will.
However, in this context, a Rancor is a gigantic monster that lives underneath Jabba the Hut's throne room in the Star Wars Universe. This also refers in the Family Guy episode Peterotica, a lawyer named Scott Greenberg is forced to battle a Rancor when he comes to sue Carter Pewterschmidt over a car accident caused by reading an erotic book written by Peter Griffin. He defeats the Rancor the same way Luke Skywalker did in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Afterwards, Carter Pewterschmidt comments "I didn’t realize Greenberg was a Jedi name".
