Artist's Comments

His limitation of power within the real world is far greater than a shinigami captain's full power within the Soul Society. As a personal Guardian of the King of the Soul Society, he is an extremely potent combatant, well above all of the captain-level shinigami. He possesses an enormous amount of spiritual energy, almost three times greater than a average class captain, and he mastered all forms of Shinigami combat [Kidou, Hakuda, Hohou, Zanjutsu]. His mastery of the regular skills are such that he is able to stop released zanpakutou effortlessly. His spiritual energy is far more greater than Aizen's. The force of Tengetsu's spiritual power is also great enough to bring Aizen himself to his knees without any visible effort.

He is also a Vizard, but he never uses his Hollow mask ever; only in extreme situations will he use it. His mask is similar in appearance to Kurosaki Ichigo's mask, but the only difference is the markings. He can kill lesser Arrancar/Hollows with little to no effort at all. The unusual thing about Tengetsu is that he possesses three zanpakutou and can use different bankai depending on his zanpakutou equipped. This is probably due to the enormous reiatsu that he possesses.

Yep. The King lives in a different dimension away from the Soul Society. Even though he is the king, he usually gives the power to the Central 48 Court to run the Soul Society.
